Cattle Industry Convention Sets Sail for San Diego

Ride the waves at the annual event hosted by five beef industry groups.

SAINT JOSEPH, Mo. (Jan. 21, 2016) — Cattlemen, cattlewomen and industry enthusiasts, adjust your sails. The 118th annual Cattle Industry Convention and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) Trade Show is Jan. 27-29 in San Diego, Calif. Full event coverage of the event by the Angus Media team will be available online at www.4cattlemen.com.

The annual event is the largest of its kind in the industry. This year, organizers are expecting to host more than 6,000 guests at the event, which boasts the theme, "Set Sail for San Diego." The convention will feature joint and individual meetings of five industry organizations: the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA), the Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion & Research Board (CBB), American National CattleWomen Inc. (ANCW), CattleFax and the National Cattlemen’s Foundation (NCF).

The American Angus Association, Angus Media and Certified Angus Beef LLC invite you to stop by booth number 5239 in the NCBA Trade Show

A popular educational venue, the NCBA Cattlemen’s College® series will kick off its 23rd year at the convention Tuesday evening, Jan. 26. The series, sponsored by Zoetis, will feature speakers and live animal demonstrations that give cattlemen and women the tools to connect, learn and innovate.

“Cattlemen’s College is a great opportunity for producers from all parts of the country, all ages, and all operations to learn from leading industry experts and their fellow cattlemen and women,” said NCBA President Phillip Ellis. “Never has producer education been more important in our industry, and, if applied, the principles discussed in this program will add value to your operation.”
