First needle-free injection system for cattle debut at 2004 NCBA Show

The new Pulse® 250, the first needle-free injection for beef and dairy cattle, was introduced to the livestock industry by Felton International during the 2004 NCBA Show in Phoenix. Designed to propel a variable dose of medication directly through the skin and into desired layer of tissue, the Pulse 250 reduces injection site reactions and tissue damage associated with needle injection, improves biosecurity and reduces the risk of transmitting bloodborne diseases, improves worker safety and efficiency, improves food safety, and reduces disposal of hazardous waste.
