It’s calving time. It’s expensive. It’s too far away.
I can’t leave the farm that long…

Throw all those excuses for not attending the 2003 Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show Jan. 29-Feb. 1 out the window. Thanks to the sponsorship of Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc., Angus Productions Inc. (API) will provide real-time coverage of the event.

The beef industry is a complex, constantly-changing entity, and this is the one yearly event that brings all the facets together. Your future as an Angus breeder will be affected by decisions made and innovations launched at this meeting.

Even if you cannot attend, you'll be able to get a heads-up on industry happenings by visiting this  Web  site. We'll include policy discussions, cattlemen's college presentations, subcommittee and committee breakouts, award presentations, beef checkoff news, and new products presented in the trade show.

If possible, I hope you'll attend in person. It's the best way to have input into the decisions that shape our industry. But even if you are there, there are so many events going on simultaneously that it is difficult to keep up with all of it. Through this site, you will be able to catch up on what you missed. It's all part of API's goal to keep Angus breeders the most well-informed cattlemen in the industry.
